ModigenceVision’s custom 3D camera and vision system wins a World IT Show 2025 Innovation Award

ModigenceVision received a World IT Show 2025 Innovation Award, the Organizing Committee’s Excellence Award, for its custom 3D camera and vision system, ET News reported on April 24, 2025. WIS, Korea’s largest ICT exhibition, ran April 24–26 at COEX in Seoul, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT.

Eight companies received Innovation Awards: four the Minister of Science and ICT Award, and four, ModigenceVision among them, the Organizing Committee’s Excellence Award. The paper describes the winning system as one that puts AI models for object detection, 3D spatial interpretation, and position estimation to work in the camera itself.

On the show floor the company ran two demos on a ToF-based 3D camera, face recognition and object volume measurement, Platum reported at the show’s close. The volume demo captured 3D information and computed volume in real time while the conveyor belt was moving, which the outlet called a step change for logistics automation and production-line efficiency.

The company exhibited in the IBK Changgong pavilion, where Industrial Bank of Korea’s startup program showed 28 of its companies. Four of the eight award winners came from the program’s current and graduated companies.
